Awomama Ordinations by Bishop Arthur Tafoya

On Saturday July 5, 2008, 15 Bishop Arthur N. Tafoya, the Bishop of Pueblo ordained fifteen Spiritan Priests for the Province of Nigeria at the Holy Ghost Novitiate Chapel, Awomama in Imo State.  Installed bishop of Pueblo in 1980, Most Rev. Arthur Tafoya maintains Christian love as his guiding value:
“It seems to me that the main message of the Bible is about love - the love God has for us, the love we have for God and the love God expects us to have for one another. “We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us.  God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16).”             (Diocese of Pueblo)
Bishop Arthur Tafoya radiated love everywhere he went, during his short visit to Nigeria, striving to be all things to all people.
