HOLY GHOST CONGREGATION (SPIRITANS), NIGERIA.

This is the official site of the Holy Ghost Fathers and Brothers (Spiritans) Province of Nigeria. Our goal is to provide information and data on the life and work of Nigerian Spiritans.

In keeping with the Spiritan missionary charism, Nigerian Spiritan priests and brothers now work in many countries and territories worldwide. Our ministry ranges from first evangelization to pastoral care in areas where the church has shortage of priests, from human and social development to work for justice and peace, from chaplaincy and youth ministry to academic work in the development of an African theology of inculturation

The Evangelisation of the “poor” our purpose.
Therefore we go especially to peoples, groups and individuals who have not yet heard the message of the Gospel, or who have scarcely heard it, to those whose needs are the greatest, and to the oppressed. We also willingly accept tasks for which the Church has difficulty in finding workers
